Same here.......I have no problem with this. If they have the money.....more power to them.

Huh? You have no problem with people falsifying SAT scores? For people saying they are attending based on an athletic scholarship when they don’t even participate in sports?

Is that what YOU’RE really saying?

One issue in this case is that the donations were to a charity that funneled the money. If those donations were used as tax deductions, it's illegal. Knowingly transferring money to a bogus charity is wire fraud. Bribing institutions and/or individuals. I doubt any parent does time, but they're going to be paying some hefty fines.

This is different because people are cheating on the entrance exams. People are committing fraud by claiming to play some sport in order to get preference for entrance, then never being added to the team. We can discuss having different standards for athletes, but that's within the current rules, and those students at least report to the team.

Some of those schools will have NCAA issues. If someone gave money to the coach and then recruited "players" to their teams that will be recruiting violations. In at least one case today that allegedly happened.

Felicity Huffman, an actress ensnared in an alleged college admissions cheating scandal, was greeted by FBI agents with their guns drawn Tuesday morning at her Los Angeles home.

Meanwhile .......in Chicago....

I knew the rubes would make this partisan, rich folks don't go to jail often and they don't play by the same rules we have too. I do believe you might want to slow down on getting out front with this though, your hero is one of them, albeit kind of a sham rich person, lmfao.

I thought that only happened to poor Roger Stone?

:joy::joy::joy::joy:
Honestly though, take away the politics and it is ridiculous to have a takedown with a swat team for a non violent crime. I understand having people with guns there in case they are needed.

Tell me more about sanctuary cities.
You mean you don't research something before you form an opinion against it? lol, the policies ain't exactly what Sean says they are to scare ya. I always wonder what Trumpies think when they travel, in say San Antonio or San Diego, is every non white person a suspected illegal immigrant? There is a difference in reasoning among why something makes sense somewhere millions of folks live as opposed to how some old dumb **** in WV thinks about it. But hey, scaring the rubes works so why should they stop?

Do you think the FBI would continue this investigation if Crooked Hillary & Bill had gotten Chelsea into Harvard as a water polo player for $3 million?? I feel sure they didn’t intend to break any laws.

Wouldn’t you have paid? I would have, if it gets my daughter into Stanford, I’d pay no problem.

No, I wouldn’t have for just one reason: because it’s wrong.

And that’s the big problem in America today, we’ve lost our sense of right and wrong.

If someone pays to get their undeserving child into an elite school, you’ve stolen an opportunity for a deserving child.

This comes across as I’m defending Stone, and I’m not. You’re FOS if you think they’re the same.
You're FOS if you think they are that different. A nut like Stone should be treated different, but the pre-dawn, guns drawn show of force is SOP.

Right, a half dozen agents wearing those dumb *** jackets are a hell of a lot different than a fvcking swat team complete with water assault force.

*******, be honest and get off the **** Trump wagon. It’s gotten old.

I get your point. But as a parent, I wouldn’t pay for my 2.3 gpa child to get into Harvard. If my child WAS deserving, I’d pay to put them over the top, no doubt.

It’s not deepstate lunacy. The Stone thing was all about optics. The man was released without a bond like 4 hours later. GTFOH.

Let’s see what shakes out of the swamp now that Barr is AG. Can’t believe Sessions was ever AG. What a rudder less ship for 2 years. Time for some swamp creatures to be taken to court/jail.
