Fenwick played a good half of football - their coach made some bonehead calls which put them behind an eight ball they couldn't get out of. Rice didn't play Holcombe, Yarbrough or Cartelano so they were a little flat in beginning. Gallasso settled in and played a decent QB. Thies is a really good player and Marshall the Frosh is going to be a heck of a player in the years to come. DePaul is up next and then the game every Rice alum has circled - Marist in the finale

Thies is nasty. Just a pure football player. Unfortunately for the Friars, they were much better with two of them.
