They had him on the broadcast too. Dude can talk. Need to see the walk, but I think we will.

Rhule needs to take a lesson from Mizzou’s football coach when attending basketball games -

Rhule's father being a minister has helped with the gift of gab. He looks very comfortable talking in front of large audiences.

Was just thinking that. Frost and Riley didn’t. I don’t believe Callahan did either. Maybe Pelini? Not sure.

Solich didn’t have to since he had been at NU for like 40 years when he took over.

I thought it was funny how he commented on how out of shape the fans were and how the Big Ten was going to adjust to him…ooops…wait…wrong guy. Yes, I like this attitude much better. GBR!

The cult was in full force with Frost

Nearly everyone thought Frost was going to succeed. It wasn't a cult.
He was anointed the savior before accomplishing a single thing here and the more he failed the more the grand wizards came to his defense and the more the cult members blindly fell in line

Not many at all drank the poison with him. Early on, people bought it. In the end, nearly everyone was glad he was gone.

The end was 2 years too late and you had many supporting the extension and his return for year 4 and even year 5 despite any evidence suggesting he would succeed because they drank the poison

Those that dare pointed out his massive failures after year 2 were ostracized and in some cases excommunicated from this site

Lots of revisionist history

I remember seeing that the day after the BB game and how it gave me goosebumps. How sad that for many reasons his coaching tenure became a disaster and instead of goosebumps many of us ended up feeling disgusted. As it unraveled I always felt the guy never really wanted to be here and his wife didn't either, but he came because it was "expected" by his parents, Osborne, former players, and fans.

Anyway, sorry for helping to derail this thread.

Did anyone else think Nebraska was going to have problems this year in football when Frost was at the 2022 Big Ten Football Media Days and didn't make any opening statements about Nebraska football. To me it was a big Uh, oh moment when he just wanted to go to questions. Frost looked like he just wanted to take a trip to Ireland and get out of Dodge. I have a feeling he knew he was going to fail again and take a boat load of money with him and he didn't seem to care.
