The entire rotation of SHU is 23.5 years old on average....big difference in maturity, body development when you have Rhoden at 23.5 vs a normal college age player like RHJ at 21.

The game was men against youngsters and a couple of veterans in Caleb Baker and Harper. If you can't stop individual play one on one, your going to struggle.

SHU has the better more mature roster this year, RU had the more mature roster last year....one team went to the NCAAs last year, the other did not.

RU will need to get more mileage out of Caleb, Baker, Harper, Cliff and needs to find a more reliable bench contribution. There's plenty of quality schedule left to get RU back into the mix, but it's very difficult to see that happen, unless the roster gets healthy.

Larger problem is how do you find and hide Mulcahy so he can find some shots off the ball.....his defense isn't going to help in these 1 on 1 type teams like SHU and the lack of scoring is a huge liability.....might need to fast track Jalen Miller in these next 2 to 3 games, at least if one of the 2 guards in Miller or Mulcahy is going to play, one disrupts and defends an opponent at a higher level.....

Our team is very experienced. We didn’t get beat because of experience. We got beat because of talent.

Yes, they were in the same class. Age aside, there was a visible disparity in the shape/weight training between the two programs. I would expect Harper and Baker to have more muscle definition in their fourth year. (Disclaimer- Richmond is not in great shape - Willard even said so), but they do emphasize training.

Rhoden is from Long Island and was an underrated kid coming out of high school. They showed how much he has muscled up since he was 18. He was brilliant in the 2nd half. Mid range jumpers, didn't touch the rim. I was impressed by Seton Hall. Richmond had his best half of the year in the 1st half but we don't have a rim protector. Hated seeing drives to the hoop not met by stout defense. They played harder than us, granted that this is easier at home. We need Geo playing like a B1G all league guy to have success in our conference. Will he step up and stay healthy? I'm hoping.

We were one step away from stopping at least 2 of those buckets. Getting beat off the dribble is going to happen when you guard the line. Not having help move 3 feet to the lane and stop dribble penetration with the body is totally unacceptable.

Rhoden’s career 3PT percentage is below 30%.
Rhoden is the exact kind of recruit people here would be be killing Pike for going after.

Started off as a not great shooter and was underrecruited and got very little attention from high majors.
