I don't like Rex Chapman, but I think he's doing a very good job. He's insightful about basketball and that's all I care about when Im watching any form of basketball coverage.

Heard the announcer in the game say something about him dressing like the Riddler. Their all clowning on his wardrobe choices.

If someone would have told me in 1995 I’d be texting back and forth with Rex Chapman one day I wouldn’t have believed that **** for a second.

Why do things have to be this way? Just be a great ambassador for UK and enjoy that you’re connected to such a great program. I don’t know why you do this. It ruins everything.

And what do you mean “one of the few players who will stop and take pictures with fans”. Most UK players I’ve ever known do that.

Quit bringing up 40 year old racism. Nobody really cares what someone though a year removed from the 70’s. The higher ups you speak of weren’t bad people either, it’s just a different time. If you don’t want people labeling you from your worst moments, then stop doing it to them.

Come on Rex turn the tide.
So you are saying that he shouldn't discuss his time at UK and the issues that existed then? Because it makes UK look bad? I agree that UK integrated the SEC, but Rex's point is that there was still a racist element to the program and fan base as late as the mid 80's and he didn't like it. Good for him. And to say that racists in the early 80's were just good people from a different time tells me a little bit about you. People knew what was right then, some just chose to ignore it and use history as an excuse. I was born in 1936 and I knew it was wrong to treat people different when I was a kid. Even though those around me espoused beliefs, I knew in my mind and in my heart that they were wrong. To say it was a different time is to admit that there are plenty of people that selfishly were on the wrong side of history.

What’s funny is Rex post here and most haven’t figured it out. He’s Obro3 or whatever his name is. Just letting y’all know.

I'd say Pat Riley might be up there on the list. When was the last time his *** came to a UK game at Rupp that wasn't honoring him or his past UK teams?
Don't know when the last time he was at UK, but he's never spoken anything but high regard and love for his time at UK

Rex is a leftist...so are a lot of people...but I truly believe his politics has so distorted his thinking that he is beyond rational. Like Keith Olbermann. And that is sad.

He actually tweeted a picture of Melania Trump and showed a side by side of Hitler..You know why? Because of an outfit she was wearing...I mean that is off the rails crazy...

Adolf Hitler is literally the worse person ever on this planet..and he compared the former first lady to him. Sick..

So yea, I have no use for him...at all.

Rex just picked the UK women to win the national championship. It was from his heart but again, a pretty good endorsement and free advertisement for the UK womens basketball team. Good for him.

I’m just amazed how racist and hypocritical Rex is. Here is a rich white man taking a great job away from what should be a person of color. Afterall most players are people of color, but most broadcasters are old rich white men. For all his virtue signaling, he sure doesn’t practice what he preaches.

This is close to what Rex would say if some other old rich white man took the job…

He did the right thing back in the 1980s unlike a lot of these damn players that are ******* Traitors and leave their home state and go play for Alabama. Jedrick Willis, Damien Harris looking at you two you punk traitors.

I’ll take mean tweets over a literal bafoon who will start WW3 and made gas and food unaffordable. But that’s just me I guess. Even the main stream Trump haters are starting to realize how bad he is.
I bet he’s hoping Russia will blow up the energy company in Ukraine that his unqualified son Hunter worked at, making $82,000 a month while Sleepy Joe was overseeing corruption in the Ukraine. Let those documents burn.

Well aren’t you just a modern day Christ.

There’s no telling who you are or what you’ve done. You talk a big game and usually that means there’s plenty of skeletons in your closet buddy.

We’ve got plenty of racist people today on all sides of the spectrum. You choose to ignore that. In 100 years maybe someone will talk about you and how you sat back while large portions of people were awful to each other. It includes all races. Are you a fan of abortion? It’s getting unpopular, in 100 years you’ll probably be seen as a murderer.

Or we can let people’s opinions stay in time and allow everyone to grow with the age.

Someone might have told Rex to stop dating a black girl a few years removed from civil rights era. How long do you want to harp on it?

You and Rex are attention whores who think you’re better than people when we all know the politically incorrect truth. You’re a couple of weirdos that no one likes. Good day.

everyone needs a redemption story of being addicted to opioids, having gambling debts, felony theft, bankruptcy, divorce, coming back home and then turning their life around by retweeting twitter content and parlaying that into a guest analyst gig dressed like a Mens Warehouse Daddy Warbucks

its like a Hallmark movie if it were written by Tim Burton

Thanks. I am sure Rex had to deal with a lot of pain and needed medication. But there is a reason all meds say use as prescribed.
I am sure the DR who wrote the prescription knew how much Rex needed daily.
I am happy for him and anyone who beat drug addiction. It just makes me mad that people like him get pity and elderly people or anyone of any age for that matter that truly need medicine for pain have to jump through hoops be drug tested time and time again to get medicine. BTW moms insurance is not good and she struggles to pay a high percentage of the cost for the drug tests that she has repeatedly passed. Yet because of abusers and sellers she has to pay dearly for their mistakes.
Not fair.

Maybe he was coming her husband to hitler.
Biden/liberals/socialists would be closer to Hitler since they condone/support the murder of illions of innocent lives every year.

Are you joking or just stupid? Please enlighten us on how he will start WW3 and has made gas and food prices unaffordable?

I'm not a big Rex fan because of what he did prior to the uconn game but he seems to be doing pretty well as a studio host so far
