I agree with you, but I think that's been his plan all along. As soon as his son(s) are out of college, I'm assuming he will be too.

And the answer is of course, no. He wasn't ready for college coaching when he jumped in, but he's flashy enough that he could buy recruit better players. Of course, that strategy just might be crazy enough to work with Jerry's ego and checkbook.

So ya have X’s and O’s and Jimmies and Joes…..Deion transcends both. I say, give him a shot. It can’t be worse. Hire offensive guys around him and let him do his thing with the players.

Let’s be real….these players don’t give a flip what Jerry has to say…it’s like opening up a closet of the 1980’s every time he opens his mouth.

This is the first mention I’ve seen of Deion moving up but I could t argue with the superlatives. The cowboys could do a lot worse. Especially with Dak running the offense. Deion would bring excitement and passion back, which is the hallmark of Dallas.
