I really wish Rex would go to a team that would give him the break he deserves... guy should be the starting RB without question.... he seems to always be under valued... but I guess in the plus side it makes for a longer career for him hopefully
Agreed. He lives not far from us in the Boston area. His skill set is perfect for the Pats offense, and he's well-respected around here. He was Player of the Game yesterday. He was also a perfect gentlemen when my son got his autograph on multiple items last year. He was intrigued about my son having both Husker and Pats memorabilia. Because of proximity, you don't have too many people who are Husker fans around here (or college football fans in general).Rex skill set fits perfectly with what the Pat's do with there offense. A rb that can pass block then slip out to catch one. Going to new England is the best thing he could have done.
I mean correct me if I’m wrong but that’s what most NFL offenses try to do with their RB, they all want one that can pass block then slip out to catch it... or even maybe run it a few times... I’m not saying he doesn’t fit the pats but what I am saying is he is good enough to not be the number 3 back... In NE he is their 3 back... not even number 2 and for a back that “fits their scheme perfectly” you’d think he’d be higher up that depth chart... to me the bottom line is Rex is better then a third string RB and shouldn’t be listed as such.Rex skill set fits perfectly with what the Pat's do with there offense.
