OP, you can see why Thompson earned himself a series on the bench

we went right down the field on the first drive, including 2 nice deep shots that were converted

Thompson seemed to have gotten a little rattled with something underneath iu started to do at the end of the 1st Q/start of the 2nd, and as a result was much too tentative

Palmer was running wide open behind the defense off play action half a dozen times and CT came off him early each time (must've been seeing something he didn't anticipate)

if CT had his eyes downfield all game, Palmer could've set the single game big ten receiving yard record in the first 3 quarters
