More than halfway through the season and this is not a good team. Currently 5-2. After tonight’s debacle here is how I see things playing out for the remaining games…

Northwestern - W << this will be a close one
USC - L
UCLA - L
Penn State - L
Iowa - L

Regular season finish 6-6

Our O-line cannot block at all. Our D cannot stop the run. We were able to beat Cincinnati, Michigan State, and Maryland because we overachieved in those games. The Bowl won’t be a great destination but at least the team will get additional practice.

Likely close. They're good enough to o flip 2 of those Ls but they likely get maybe 1 of them. Offense is bad without the luxury of plays lasting more than 3 seconds.

I’m going with 8 wins but the o line needs to wake up get the correct line checks. Does anyone know did Minnesota use the same defensive scheme that ucla did last season? Because that really confused Dylan and the oline

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to look at the schedule and see a total collapse like last year - especially after being dominated tonight. There were zero positive takeaways from this game - you have to hope it was an anomaly. Although we likely know the truth.

I would not be surprised to see both Cali schools beat us by a couple TDs. At this point I’m not sure there’s a win left on the schedule. While other teams get better as the season progresses, ours seems to regress.

I originally predicted 8-4 but not after last night. Our O-line flat out sucks. There is no other way to spin it.

The defense cannot stop the run which is what the Big-10 does best.

Count our blessings that we will be lucky to finish 6-6!

I think they win one more of those B1G games, giving Matt an astounding 4-5 B1G record versus the past 2 years of 3-6. Progress!!!
