This class has had multiple QB's leading the Nation. Illinois has had tremendous players leading the way but has it resulted in success.

Trae Taylor- Left the state.

Israel Abrams- Just lost to Sandburg.

Jameson Purcell- Dad has held him back twice and maine south still isn't a title contender.


What does the state do for Illinois QB's do now?

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. A kid can be a top level recruit and not go undefeated. These QB's aren't playing defense. Illinois is having a historic run of QB's, single game results don't change that.

What are you guys even talking about? So Montini loses a close game as a result of some terrible mental mistakes for the first time in 25 games and that means Abrams just isn't that good? It seems like ya'll have never actually played football before. Losing a game might actually be the best thing for him

this guy just lost to SANDBURG HIGH SCHOOL.
He’s supposed to be a five star quarterback

He is a five star and he lost a game just like many 5 star quarterbacks before him. I still don't get the point. This isn't some kind of issue isolated to Illinois quarterbacks. Do you think every good quarterback wins every game they ever play?

With NIL creeping into high school guys are starting to act like pro’s but people want to act like they aren’t. You can’t have it both ways.

This is the same clown who has spent years going after Argo of all places. He loves to rip apart anyone who does not have success. Will cry in one thread why Blue division CPS teams aren't in the IHSA playoffs then rip apart CPS teams that lose in the playoffs.

Haters gonna hate. Abrams worth every cent of whatever NIL money he gets, because a big time school is willing to give it to him. Good kid, classy, and has played great since taking over 25 games ago. Lifted the entire program.

He didn’t play his best game tonight, but so what. This is what 2900 kids versus 500 kids looks like sometimes. Sandburg is a solid program with a great coach. You emphasizing “Sandburg” as if losing to them is some kind of embarrassment for a 3A school just shows how much of clown you are. Learn ball little fella, and quit counting other peoples money.
