I know it's dreaming but realistically every spring sport but men's tennis and softball have a chance to be competing for a national championship. It's so exciting watching these programs and seeing the talent and potential.

Throw in a few other sports too, but yeah there is a lot of potential this spring. Current rankings:

• WLax #2
• W Tennis #5
• Baseball #5
• WGolf #12
• MGolf #16
• Rowing #21 (22 teams in championship, so on the bubble)
• Softball #40 RPI (~40-46 is on the bubble)
• M Tennis #42 (~37-43 ins on the bubble)

Track and field is a lot harder to measure in that you need individuals to score, and overall team performance is not really a factor. But it is hard to imagine the men besting their 17th place finish last season. The women will likely improve on 34th place, but top 20 may be a stretch.

We are so fortunate to have 6 teams that could make a deep run in May. Crazy that it’s probably not super out of the norm. Of course it inevitably leads to some heartbreak at the end but wouldn’t have it any other way.

And a very interesting side-story is whether Rowing can score their first Director’s Cup points ever.

My guess as that Miltenberg got an offer from another school and brought it to us to match it.
