Black Americans Get Fewer of the Job Gains Under Trump - Bloomberg
https://www.bloomberg.com/view/arti...umbers-black-americans-get-fewer-of-the-gains

I'm not sure how the Dems respond to claims by Repubs that lynchings will occur if the Dems get some control over congress other than to just call them outrageous liars. I'd wouldn't even call that "kicking them" except for the truth hurts. You'd think that Repubs would have a record to run on instead of just making up crazy lies about Dems but I guess not.

My kids are college age and for the most part conservative. They have diverse thoughts and friends. One such friend who happens to be black and played a D1 football (he quit after his freshman year) was dating a white female student. He cheated on her and got caught. The white chick then went to the police and said he raped her. He spent over $10,000 in lawyer fees to stay out of jail. In the end, friends stepped in refuted her story and she dropped the charges.

It is often discussed on college campus's that if you are black and a white chick gets pissed at you, you may very well end up in a jail for something you didn't do. The exact same thing happened to my son except when she found out about him cheating, she went to his house attacked him and destroyed $5,000 worth of computer equipment plus $1,000 to his car. My son denies that they ever dating and she was just a Fu*k friend. He called the cops when she was in the house and they told him walk away and be lucky that she did not accuse him of rape. My daughter has a couple of stories of her freshman year in Towers of girls on her floor dressing like sluts and talking about getting laid, waking up the next morning naked and telling stories about how they were raped, only to never press charges and admit that it was consensual.

The ad was saying that we don't want to go back to when a female could unjustly accuse a black person (or anyone) for that matter without some proof or witness to back up the claim. I think that in this current climate, there is some truth to the story, and while I don't like fear mongering, it is no different that what has been a democratic tactic for years.

Thats why we, as a country, should treat every case on its merits instead of pushing narratives that ebb and flow with the political climate...

EX-OHIO STATE RB FOUND NOT GUILTY OF RAPE; ACCUSER LIED ABOUT ENTIRE ORDEAL
October 22, 2018

For what seems like the millionth time, a man was found to be not guilty on the charge of rape and the accuser won’t face any charges for lying about the entire ordeal.

Former Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn must feel like he has a new lease on life after the jury verdict was read Friday in a Columbus courtroom and he was acquitted of rape charges.

She testified one thing, he denied all accusations, but it was ultimately it was her voice admitting to her lies that freed Dunn from a false accusation.

“Not guilty on all counts. That was the verdict Friday for former Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn.

Dunn was charged with two counts of rape. He is now a free man.

“These are very difficult cases because rape is a horrible crime, a heinous crime. It’s just something that he didn’t do.”

Dunn and his accuser dated briefly in the summer of 2017.

She told jurors they had broken up by August 20, when he called her at 4 a.m. for a ride.

She picked him up and took him to her apartment, where she said he raped her.

Dunn took the stand yesterday and denied any forced contact.

The woman admitted to contacting Dunn up to 27 times after the alleged rape.

Jurors heard recordings of her telling Dunn she would tell everyone she had lied about it.

Before the jury was seated, Tuesday prosecutors offered to drop everything in exchange for a guilty plea to misdemeanor assault.

“My client has categorically rejected that offer,” Landusky said Tuesday. “My client has told me, and I even asked him, if they offer a minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct and suspended all fines and costs, would you take a deal? He says no. and his reason for that is because he is an innocent man. He’s not just presumed innocent, but actually innocent.”

Dunn was a backup running back for Ohio State from 2012 to 2015.
