Does anyone know what the deal is with her? She has regressed extremely. Shooting 17% from the field. She was a bucket but not so much now

if I am not mistaken she has been fighting some sort of injury that limited her on court time early and probably is still affecting her play. I have no concrete information to know that so speculation.

She had her knee scoped in the offseason (mentioned by a TV announcer three games ago), which usually means cartilage or ligament damage. She was extremely limited in practice and conditioning restricted from anything that put stress on the knee (alluded by Reniya in preseason interviews, confirmed by Banghart later).

She has been on minutes restriction all season in games and completely sat out some (stated by CB in post games), and we recently found out that she has not been practicing between games 5v5 at all (Stated by CB in her most recent interview). The restrictions are expected to be lifted at Christmas.

She appears to simply be working her way into game shape. Her shots are on target but are rimming out. The shooting and ball handling isn’t crisp yet. She just needs to get more minutes until she finds her rhythm again. Her on ball defense is really good and makes a difference. No easy entry passes and less penetration because she is so powerful and quick.

That is exactly right. She has been limited and as a result, she is not getting the lift on her jump shot which is causing her shots to be flat and off. Her rythm, timing, and conditioning is not there yet too. As someone stated she is working herself back into game speed shape. The same can be said about Blanca. The more they both play the better because their timing, rhythm, conditioning, etc. are slowing coming back. We saw it last night for both of these players.
