Imagine viewing everything in life through the lens of race. That guy is a cancer and I’m glad he’s no longer with the football program.

Also. I'm guessing he's referring to reperations from the harm he suffered through false accusations...

Your the one viewing this through the race lens.

Also, post less. Like, a lot less.

Regardless of what he’s referring to, I’m so glad he’s gone, and all the friend group and little girlfriends too. Dude got famous for being Trevor’s roommate
It’s hard to blame him for trying to capitalize on playing for Clemson. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, too. It doesn’t mean anybody should feel like they need to pay attention to him or like what he’s saying.

That said, if we had a climate that was more tolerant of various points or view, I don’t think Rencher would be getting much push back. Kind of ironic, I guess.

I’m not a fan of Rencher at all. But I’m surprised at some of the responses. What’s wrong with this tweet?
Isn’t he saying Deshaun is getting paid and then some for falsely being accused of some of the stuff his masseuses said?

I think that’s all he was saying here…

Maybe that word triggers some folks tho.

but I do agree I got a little tired of him.

He is, but it at least seems like he’s using a word that he knows is provocative. It would be incredibly stupid if he actually meant “reparations for slavery,” so I don’t think that’s what he explicitly meant. It also could’ve been a joke along those lines.

Rencher is a smart guy. He's got a different point of view than I do about a lot of things. Some things he does and says irritate me to no end. But I would encourage people not to be dismissive just because you don't like what he said. He loves Clemson. He worked hard and earned a degree. He's got a bright future. I'd much rather have a chance to discuss various issues with him than I would someone who agrees with everything I believe. Test your theories and expose them to criticism. Don't be afraid to be wrong and don't ostracize those with whom you disagree. :)

Imagine letting a walk on pitch a tent in your brain like this
Don’t get all upset sometimes the truth hurts. Rencher wasn’t a positive aspect within the team and honestly just a distraction. Always knew he was a distraction at best.
I was a NCAA college athlete I’ve seen it first hand buddy. Most talented team I played on had big time distractions and underachieved. One of our lesser talented teams ended up 7th in the country but it was all about ball and ball only. Team chemistry matters and all that marching woke crap was far from uniting our team.

Reparations has lately been used in conjunction with race is why. It didn't make any sense in this context.

Rencher is friends with Watson. He’s not talking about race. He’s talking about pay back for his belief that Watson was victimized by false accusations and possibly sabotaged by the Texans.

No knowledge outside of social media, but this seems like a common thought amongst Clemson players.

y’all do know reparations is a word that has meaning outside of slavery right?

Dude should still keep quiet about it though. Having 20+ women come forward about sexual assault is a enough smoke that you probably should keep your excitement for your friend offline. Not a good look for someone trying to get into higher level sports entertainment.

It does, but there’s a really obvious connotation. Maybe he’s just a 23 year old who doesn’t realize that, or maybe he said it as a joke. Beating your chest when Watson was at least sleazy also seems a little questionable.

Race aside the term reparations definitely wasn’t the appropriate term for the Watson issues
Wow….
Let it all go I’m the biggest DW4 fan there is but that statement just looks bad at best
Agree...not the best choice of words for DW's situation.
