Eva passed away on Wednesday, April 1, at the age of 72 at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn from pneumonia. Whether or not COVID-19 contributed to her passing is uncertain, as her family did not receive confirmation of a testing result. The pandemic's distancing protocols, however, made an already difficult experience even more distressing and complicated.

JK and I met her several times during Mike’s career at Rutgers. Nothing but joy and love for her grandson!

Much love to the family during this trying time of grief and need

Condolences to Mike and his family. May your grandma rest in peace. This is such a sad time for family members to pass away. We've had 4 elderly family & friends pass and you feel so sad that you can't have proper memorial services for them.

My condolences also to Mike and his family. His grandma sounds like a great woman. And Mike will always be one of my favorite RU players.
