Relax about the double bye.

Kentucky basketball should never have to rely on auburn to get something done for them, especially a double bye in the SEC. Kentucky should be able to do that on their own, but the standards have dropped so much people will celebrate it either way

probably doesn’t really matter to be honest. I was ready to go after the Auburn game, but damn last night really put a damper on my hype. They were atrocious. Seems just too many issues to overcome. I still maintain that at some point after the season is over we will begin to hear tidbits of info about real problems that exist with this group off the court that bleed into performance. Some of these dudes just don’t get along. Probably a few different ways.

Yep doesn’t mean anything anymore, but Rupp is always packed and loud!!! Step away from this board every once and awhile and you will see the program is alive and well. Last few seasons have been disappointing, but the drama queens on this board go a little overboard.
Funny you mentioned drama queens....definitely your field

The program led by John Calipari may be alive but it is far from well. It is a shell of the program it should be. Crowds and loud noises are not the only measurement of a strong program. Won - loss record is a measurement. UK is an also ran program today.

We get what we deserve, have to take care of business at home and didn't do it so here we are are depending on someone else...sad
Absolutely. Take care of your own business then let the chips fall where they may. Can’t control what other teams do or don’t do.

It ain’t packed and it ain’t loud compared to what it used to be. Stop covering for Cal and the shambles this program is in

Looks like Auburn will be about a 3 point underdog this Saturday.
So underdog but it's not out of the realm of possibility they win.

Injuries will come out for sure, like Wallace and reeves playing through something

The point wasn’t the double bye.

It was to be in the bottom half of bracket, avoiding Bama until the Finals vs. Semifinals.

Could’ve had a Vanderbilt, A&M, Bama run.

Now probably will get OleMiss/USC, UT, Bama, A&M. Quite the difference in gauntlet.

Still can get 3seed with W Saturday, but what are the odds on that with a banged up Wallace? Slim to none.

Hard to see a team who hasn't won more than 4 games in a row all season going on a run. We can hope all we want. It's just not likely. That doesn't mean every single one of us doesn't want UK to win the title. Using Coach Cal's own words I'd call this "demonstrated performance" logic. Last year's team did it twice and lost in the first game.

And would absolutely give us the most difficult path to the title. UT in GM 1, Bama G2, TAMU GM3

It won’t matter bc we would crap the bed Friday afternoon or get routed by Bama Saturday so Cal could get home and cuddle his dogs.

The man developed a terribly poor roster from a depth standpoint, a key backup has essentially quit on the team, and we have an injured starting PG. This is all before not having quality enough depth to begin with… to play and win three days in a row.

It doesn’t matter what seed we are, bc once again Cal mailed it in and we aren’t built to win it

Guarantee we will hear a ton of drama about Wheeler. Really wish he would’ve left after last season and we could’ve gotten a real scoring PG. one that’s not 5’6” and 250. 🤣

Celebrate mediocrity
Seems to be a damn plague these days. It’s acceptable everywhere and hell even encouraged.

“It’s on to be average….”

No. It’s not. Unless that’s you highest goal but damn I’m tired of settling.

Honestly I never thought I'd see the day UK fans would settle for mediocre basketball. Not all of us do or will ever settle for it.I just don't get the cult with Calipari.I mean what he did the first half of his tenure was great but somewhere after that lofty contract he just became content and sarcastic. Its time for change,Calipari isn't the only coach that can succeed at UK.His time here is done, let's move on.

Might be better to be in top half of bracket…we’ll spend all our energy for (hopefully) another Quad 1 win against Tennessee then we can throw the Alabama game. Sit Reeves, Wallace, Oscar, etc. so the committee won’t hold that beatdown against us. Can’t believe Cal has done this to me. He’s killed my heart.

We need more games for Cal to try to figure it out, Cal isn’t a robot, he makes mistakes, he just doesn’t learn from his mistakes.
