We should be alright as long as we contain the run, their passing game does not scare me. The defense has been solid even in our losses this year and the offense is finally getting healthy again. I say we win by 28-35 and then destroy the rest of the conference.

When a team loses the way Walkertown did against WR, and then comes right back the next week with a big win against ES... That's the mark of a good team... My son plays for WR... Trust me, Walkertown is tough...
We know they aren't easy. If the rams are state title contenders these are type of statement games they need to show it.
While Walkertown may be tough, East Surry is not a good team this year. I'll take Reidsville by 21+
Doesnt have any bearing on the game, but I see on FB that Reidsville AD is leaving for GW Danville. Odd timing for sure.
Heard that from someone at the GW game and had it confirmed the following week. Probably more money working in Virginia.
Aint no probably about it, VA pays more. Just kinda odd when all things are considered and timing
Jaquez Tynes out he's probably our best lineman. Henry still playing defense but not getting any carries.
Samolu is out too one of our better defensive players. Jayden Stone hurt as well plus some back ups and the kicker.
Walkertown up 14-6 at halftime. They are a lot better than I expected, Broadway has had a rough game.
They are a little better than I thought. But these penalties and play calling are killing us. Gotta put Henry at running back. We are in code red with this game
Walkertown wins 20-18. Rams earned every bit of that loss.
Every time Reisdville loses its the exact same excuse . Don't worry , even if you lose another game , Que will make sure you will be ranked 1 and play all playoff games at home .
Not using that as an excuse at all. Even if we were 100% right now we would still be terrible against good teams. We have a lot of issues to figure out before the playoffs come around.
Well she retired. And RPI handles that. So....
Walkertown has a very good coaching staff and took advantage of Ram mistakes and absences. Also at this point, just kick a PAT. The hero of West Craven was hurt but they got two kids that can kick.
Perfect storm: Injuries, penalties, QB problems, coaches keep going for two pts using players that cannot convert. Rams were lucky to even be in the game. I was not impressed by Walkertown.
That old injury bug has been bothering us all season as well … rams will bounce back
When Page scrimmaged Walkertown weeks ago, I could tell that Walkertown wasn't a pushover. I wouldn't say they impressed me or anything crazy, but Reidsville has no business losing a game like this. Injuries or not.
Reidsville hit with 15 penalties for 124 yards ... Two big ones aided Walkertown's game-winning drive. That pass interference flag came from ref on opposite side of field. The ref near the play didn't see it. After a loooong huddle by the officials, the call stood.
In the 80-yard winning drive, Walkertown converted three third downs. The big one came early; on 3rd and 5 from the Walkertown 25, the Rams had runner stopped in backfield but facemask call kept drive going.
Reidsville had more yards rushing (173) than passing (129) ... first time that has happened this season. Lyons had 17 carries for 127 yards.
Total yards: Reidsville 302, Walkertown 240.
Bottom line: Wildcats made the plays when they had to and they kept mistakes to a minimum ... only 6 penalties and the only turnover was an interception on a fourth down play. Conversely, one of Reidsville's 2 turnovers resulted in a 40-yard pick-6.

Reidsville is 3 of 11 on two-point tries this season, including 0-5 in the games they lost when scoring the same number of touchdowns as the opponent.
Reidsville graduated two all-time greats (side note: Kendre Harrison scored first collegiate TD Friday night), but they still returned plenty of talent. But a lot of the veteran talent that was being counted on is on the injured list and out for the season.
Still plenty of time to get it together and make an impact in 4-A division.
I hope so Lion. But probably not a state championship in the cards this year. Too many issues. A healthy team will make a huge difference. And the coaches have to realize they just don't have the players to convert two point conversions.
Cant change injuries, but the other stuff can be curtailed if approached the correct way. Sometimes just actually approaching issues is all that is needed.
