Final in VHSL Region 5A Hoops Tournament Semis at Scope - Princess Anne 57, Kempsville 40. Two teams split during the regular season, but Cavs (19-5) win the rubber match to advance to the Region 5A title game on Monday and secure their first State Tournament berth since 1999.

VHSL Region 5A Hoops Semis at the Half - Salem-VB 10, Green Run 6. Low-scoring tussle between the No. 7 seed Sun Devils and No. 6 seed Stallions for the right to occupy the other State Tournament spot from the region and face top-seeded Princess Anne on Monday.
