The SEC West is god-tier. The SEC East is ****-tier. Well, maybe not ****, but seemingly just "average" for a Power 5 conference.

I think all the metric folks have the SEC East ranked the worst division in P5. Yet Tennessee is ranked.

It's a week from Monday, Jan 11. But I agree with your statement. Florida was the outlier ... A&M almost won theirs (sorta).

Overall, the SEC

scored 366 points while giving up 199. 3-1 vs the Big 10. 3-0 vs the Big 12. 1-0 vs the AAC. 1-1 vs the ACC.

The West was 6-1. The East was 2-1.

Also it was just the 2 SEC teams that were in QB limbo that lost. Florida was without Will Grier and Texas A&M was without Allen or Murray. If those 2 teams had their regular starters then the SEC might be undefeated at this point.

It's very possible

that A&M could've won, but Michigan flat out killed UF. Grier may have made a little difference.

Don't kid yourself. UT is loaded. They were a young team learning how to win. Much like us in 2013.

They will win the east and be the only team outside of Lsu to challenge Alabama in 16.

You are correct.

I think folks forget their goofy losses to OU and UF. They could have easily been 10-2. I think a UM-UT game at the end of the season would have been interesting.

They could have just as easily lost to Georgia and South Carolina and finished 6-6.

They'll certainly be a team to watch. The talk always was UT was landing kids on the promise of getting them to the NFL in three years. It'll be interesting to see how many, if any, they lose this off season.

Their 2016 season will be decided by the half way point. They get VT, UF, UGA, Bama, and A&M all early next year.
