I've asked this question before and never gotten a decent answer. What do you do if, say a Tulane starter comes down with the virus the day after we play them? Dozens of our players have been in close contact with him for an extended period of time. Do we sit most of our starters for the A&M game the next week? What if we don't and half our team comes down with the virus the day after the A&M game and then their players have been exposed to our players? These questions have to be answered before we can play football.

On the optimistic side, German Soccer has been playing for over 2 weeks now, with quarantining, with no significant issues.

I think we all are going to have to eat those fish tank cleaner pellets to make sure this thing gets under control

I think the testing infrastructure is in a much better place than it was when we cancelled baseball & basketball. We can test, and retest, enough players to get a handle on it.

Im more concerned about a trainer or grad assistant or tutor testing positive than an opposing player. Dozens of players could be in close contact with them indoors. That seems more likely to be an issue than an opposing player on a 100 degree day.

I think Oklahoma State just told players not to report like they were planning because a few players tested positive. Will be interesting to see how they handle it.

Do they have labs on site (no idea if thats a thing) bc the lag in testing seems to be the issue and that seems to be caused by getting it to the lab.
