Well, we can thank the refs for keeping us it that half. UF looked liked the better team (outside of rebounding) that half. We got a lot of points from the line. Hopefully in the second half we'll get our heads out of our butts.

Really, I'm at the game and have seen at least 5 horrible calls against UK. Where has Florida been screwed? Haven't seen it.

I havent seen anything terrible, but the OP is flat wrong that they are helping the gators.

This guy is a troll. Has to be.

I don't know what else to say, if you don't think UF has looked like the better team today or that we're not getting calls inside that UF is not getting. I get it, UK always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to refs...however, thinking it's not the opposite today is mind-boggling homerism. Call me a troll if you want, I simply don't care. What I do care about is that we get out heads out of our butts this next half.

Hey dumbass are you telling me Monk's first foul was a foul? Where the guy just turned his body to brush up against Monk? You telling me Brisoe's two fouls were fouls? Especially the second one where literally a Florida player was tripped by his own teammate? Or briscoe's first where he got called for a charge while the denfender was clearly moving. Or Wilkins getting plowed and called for a foul when Monk did the same thing the afloroda player did later but it was called the other way? You wanna play that game? Where we look at each foul? Quit trolling. You suck at it.

My last post was about the 3rd foul call on the UF point guard. The one where Monk simply fell down and they called a foul on the UF player. If you think that was a foul then I don't know what to say. Just like I don't know what to say if you can't see that UF is a better team than us so far today.

I think the officials have been okay today. Probably better than the basketball ... which is saying very little. :flush:

I know which call you were referring to. Was it a foul? No. Monk fell down and got the call. Big deal. The Frazier kid from UGA got that call on us like 3 times and the UF player got one at the beginning of this game. Sure UF looks better, they're hitting some 3s, but that doesn't mean they haven't gotten plenty of calls go their way. The notion that refs are keeping UK in the game is idiotic.

It is not the number of fouls called...it is the foul calls or lack thereof. It is the no call fouls that have not fallen UK's way. You watch the games home or away that the blueblood programs and see if they get as many no call fouls or lack thereof that go against them....I will answer that question for you...the answer is none to very few

Im sorry, but it's true. Look at the free throw differential and the ghost calls that gave Monk how many free throws? Kid is a baller by my god he got help from the stripes today

UF became content with jacking up 3's all game
easy to blame to refs when you lose.
it would be about time for UK to get the edge on the whistle this season.

When a team (UF) shoots THIRTY 3 point shots, you tend not to go to the line too much. Hell, they hit 10, which was almost half their points.

Sorry either your team (UF) lost or the treat you hate on (UK) won. Too bad.

P.S. Monk went to the line 11 times, not a huge number. You act as if he wasn't hitting jumpers or anything lol.

You have to hand it to the refs today. They showed heart. They gave 110% and let the chips fall where they may. But in the end, they just couldn't pull this one out. Maybe next time guys.

UF was either jacking up 3's or getting open dunks/ layups. There wasn't any more chances for UF to shoot free throws.

I think the mashburn poster is a UNC fan

I do like how the Florida fans and UK haters complain about the foul disparity despite Florida taking literally double the number of three point attempts. Probably the same people who say "Cal's only offensive strategy is to have a guy charge the lane and try to draw a foul" complaining when that turns out to be a viable tactic.

Can't have it both ways. You want a jump shooting game, have at it. You want free throw attempts, drive the lane. Probably aren't gonna stuff the stat sheet on both in the same game.

The wefs weren't fair!! Listen to me cry like a whittle baby!!! Other team shot too many free throws and that's why they won!! even though my team shot 30 three pointers they should have called fouls on UK cause it's not fawair!!! Absolutely no calls went Florida's way, especially in the 1st half!! Listen to me cry!!!!!

Did anyone notice the Florida inbound pass with around 1 minute to go in the half? It was inbounded while still in bounds...by about 2 feet. Not making a big deal of this, but it happened right in front of the ref...how does one miss something as fundamental as that?

Every possession the last 4 min of the game when UK had the lead Floridas peremiter defense broke the impeding motion rule two hands lower body making contact both guards should have fouled out. Sorry your wrong. Obviously a Florida fan. When one team drives to the basket and the other shoots threes guess what? One shoots way more freethrows and to think with Fox it would have been by 15

ANd the walking call on Gabriel early in the game was dead wrong ..His pivot foot was still and it cost us a basket.
