Not trying to jinx us, but I generally don’t mind Shows at a neutral sight, and in road games I actually prefer him. He is the opposite of Pat Adams. Whereas Adams usually gets overly flustered by the home crowd, Shows seems to delight in making them boo him.

Here’s a Thread from a few weeks ago, about a week after another Dorsey-officiated game.

There are only a handful of refs who have officiated 2 of more of our games where we have won only 50% or less of the time. We’ve had several of them over the last month. Dorsey has the very worst % for UK of any active referee (with 2 or more games reffed), now at only 30%, with our now 3-7 record.

It's just the absolute inconsistency that drives me insane in not only our games but all games. For example Brea is shoved out of bounds in front of our bench the call? Out of bounds on Brea. Thornton was repeatedly rewarded for driving to the basket and getting a foul call. Meanwhile Lamont was driving to the basket with the same type of contact and minimal foul calls. Oweh as well. I don't care how they call it but just stay consistent. That's not to hard to ask. If they were consistent it would clean up their mistakes by a decent margin. Now I say all of that but officiating was probably about reason 50 or farther down the list of reasons we lost. But shows and dorsey are terrible officials and Evans isn't real far behind them.

I will say there were some very questionable calls in that game. But the cats played like crap so can't blame the refs for the loss.
