Looking back at our results I am nearly amazed that if we hadn't had the debacle collapse at Colorado, we would be 5-1, in spite of how poorly we have played for most of the season.

Before the season started I think most would have said 5-1 or 4-2 at this point. Has it been pretty? Hell no. Are our goals of winning the West still out there? Absolutely. Keep grinding and improving and see where we stand at the end of the season.

This Vedral wrinkle has me excited. AM just is sucking energy out of the offense. I’d like to see what he can do.

I liked the game plan today too. Very safe. We need our horses out there and a QB who can make simple throws and we should be okay.

Minnesota has two great WR and a well coached team. Certainly beatable.

I think Frost will start a hobbled knee brace Martinez next week if he can. I'd like to see Vedral play a whole game to get an idea if Martinez really is our best option. Like others have suggested, I believe Frost is a homer for Martinez and he will always start. We may have seen the last of Vedral this season if Martinez can go.

Frost is ride or die with Martinez. Pity

Well, AM has done a lot to keep that job. Just seems very rattled this year

I can see arguments for and against yanking AM, but I really dislike a lot of talk about his not wanting it and crap like that and getting all personal. It really serves no purpose (not that anyone on this thread is doing that).

There are a lot of factors that I think are causing issues. Our OLine sucks. Our center is having serious issues with snaps that is throwing off our timing. We have lost Ozigbo and Stanley. They helped get a lot of tough yards.

Personally, I think AM is playing like he is carrying the world on his shoulders. He seems to play like he has to score a TD every time he touches the ball or he wants to avoid a mistake. It is clearly impacting his play even when the line does block well or he has time. He lacks the ability to make a quick decision and commit to it.

Also, we don't play in a vacuum. Other teams scout us and our players, watch tape and game plan. Guess what? AM is having his share of 2nd year blues. Teams are game planning him, taking aways JD and making AM beat us with his arm. Until he makes that happen, we will see more of the same.

You could see a huge difference with Vedral in there. Vedral was simply decisive and that is what AM is missing right now.

Maybe Martinez is not quite what the media and the fans made made him out to be? Just a thought .

If you watched him at all last year you would expect him to have taken a leap this year. I don’t think he is a ho hum overhyped QB. Last year’s accolades were hard earned and well deserved. But for some reason it hasn’t translated to this year.
