Great for JJ. Hope he does well with Philly. Maybe he'll return to LA for the Lakers! ;) He could be exceptional as a 2G with Ball and others (especially if George signs there) - or even off the bench late in his career. Plays decent D and should be able to shoot through the rest of his career.

Imagine you are JJ and agent calls with $23M offer but it's Philly. Bet he had to talk the wife into leaving sunny LA for dreary Philly. Guess he'll live in Lower Merion.

He's also got a place in BK which honestly isn't too far from philly- 145 or so depending on traffic. My guess is for that one year I would see him potentially doing that.

If Embiid stays healthy and Ben Simmons is anything close to what people project him to be, I think Philly could snag one of the last playoff spots in the East. They were a .500 team this season in games that Embiid played in.

Commuting from Philly to Brooklyn is not possible, especially with Amtrak renovations. Driving that far after games would be impossible as well.

Uber chopper. But in all seriousness what I meant was his family for that one year can live in the BK. In sure he will rent a place in Philly for the season.

Saric is supposed to be ready this coming season as well. If Jah can get his ish together, you have a legitimate conference contender in two years.
