Is this Duke's first commitment in this class? You guys are going to get the #1/#2 pg in this class in Quickley and probably Barrett and Johnson. Reddish has been a lock to Duke since forever. Still think Williamson ends up at KU for our monster class. Has Calipari stated how many people in this class he's aiming for?

The cold hard truth is Duke has more to sell because of academic prestige, coach K, and the fact they've been the best program in the modern era on the court and unfortunately it's not really debatable.

Let me guess, the modern era started in 1991 instead of 13 years earlier. How convenient. You're so precious.

UK and Duke are basically going to break even in the 2018 class. I don't get all the worry.

Also, icymi, Kentucky is a favorite for the 1, 2, 3, and 4 rated overall prospects in 2019. In that same class, UK is the supposed leader for Ashton Haggans as well. Recruiting is alive and well.

Just sit back and try to enjoy the ride. While everyone is talking about Duke, Arizona, and Michigan State there is a team here in Lexington that has the most talented 1-11 in America.

this is it right here. I've been saying forever that while Cal is good recruiter it was always Orlando and Kenny who actually laid the ground work for Cal. If we should be crucifying Cal for anything it's his blatant disregard and disrespect of having his buddy(Barbee) on the bench so they can travel together, and eat pasta together and whatever the hell else they like to do that isn't getting it done like other assistants could be. I mean the fact that he didnt bring O back this year is criminal.

May be more to this situation than we know.

For one, I don't disagree Orlando is a superior recruiter. But Barbee was the #1 recruiter as an assistant a couple of years in a row and why he was able to become a HC.

Secondly, we cannot dispel the fact that Duke and others were not adopting the OAD strategy when AO was here. So that could be a part of it.

Lastly, O now has some baggage from the USF firing in midseason. Not that he was implicated but we don't know what we don't know.

Don't be stupid. The modern era started around when the field expanded to 64 and when the NCAA adopted the 3 point line. That's pretty commonly accepted.

Cals been passing to much on "sketchy" recruits, bottom line. Can't say I blame him but to see Ayton, Bagley, duval, and bamba(not nearly as bad as the other 3) all get cleared is a pretty big let down as "eligibility" issues play into our recruiting 10 fold
