Stephanie Wilkinson (the owner) has been all class throughout this whole ordeal.
You never understood his point. Not sure why because it wasnt hard. Other Red Hen establishments whether affiliated or not are catching flack over this. I am sure they are not thrilled to deal with that headache.
Hahahaha. So classy that she chased Huckabees family across the street to protest them while they ate at a different establishment.
That's not what he said later in this thread, in the quote I most recently posted. His original point was stupid, but the later quote was just factually incorrect.
According to Mike Huckabee. Has anyone form the second restaurant supported this claim?

Here is what has been reported, after asking Sarah to leave, she and her party politely got up to leave and even offered to pay for what they had already ordered. (I certainly would not have). Sarah and her husband left and went back to their room. The rest of the party went across the street to another restaurant. Ms wilkinson got some of her friends together and hollered from across the street at the rest of the party, harassing them. When other owners were asked if this were true, they responded that they just want this whole ordeal over with. That Lexington had enough bad publicity. If Ms Wilkinson did this, that is not class, that is a POS.
It was reported this morning and when the reporter asked, the owners just wanted it to be over with. They would have denied it if it didn't happen.
I never had a problem with Ms Wilkinson asking them to leave, I thought that Sarah and her group handled it well. I asked a person today here at the Times to see if he could confirm it, I have not heard back. People are getting unhinged. I took a selfie with James carville, I never voted for Clinton but I just thought I owed it to Mary Matlin to humanize James a little!
They've been closed for several days. Just not sure how a high end restaurant in a small town can sustain this type of negative publicity. You aren't going to get that many liberals to drive from Richmond or DC to eat over long periods of time.
I'm sure the Red Hen is blissfully navigating this issue they just don't want to show off...their fellow business people on the other hand seem concerned about potential backlash.

It was on Fox and friends this morning and Gov Huckabee on Laura Ingraham said there was more to the story, and told her that part of the story. I've asked a liberal on the paper, dan casey, to look into it. I emailed him so I don't know if he is. He wrote an article today that didn't mention it.
SHS left to go back to DC. The rest of the family went across the street to eat. The manager and employees from the Hen followed, and boycotted/protested there.

I'm sticking with my original statement that she handled this with all class. Wilkinson is also the executive director of "Main Street Lexington", an organization focused on promoting downtown Lexington. Yeah, the Ingraham tale is looking more like steamy poopoo.
Mike Huckabee mentioned it once, noone else has corroborated. I'd say they're wanting it to die, and why noone here had really mentioned it.
The Ingrahm tale? What the hell is wrong with you? She had Mike Huckabee on and he told the story but according to you this has to do with Ingrahm or Fox and Friends credibility. I am starting to think you have swallowed too much mercury.
