Twitter rumblings are that CJ Hester is still being pursued by Iowa for a flip, man that would be a cherry on the 2026 class.
TOS shows him as “cool” with Mizzou. That at least indicate that he’s open.

Nebby fans are lame ting that their 2026 class is without a o-line man and currently is dead last in BIG.
But maybe that means they are loading up in 27 class.
Top recruits in Iowa in 27 are Blum and dejean.
If Brewer had not reclassified the 27 class would have 3 TE s at top?
Wonder if they all stay at TE?

On3 has Jack Janda, TE committed to Wisconsin, flipping to Iowa on their prediction machine. Has a nice offer list, Michigan, Oregon, Miami, Washington, Indiana and many others.

Edit: TOS seems to think Michigan St.

QB Falzone decommitted from Auburn , Interesting to see where He and Herrera end up .
I thought Herrera was looking like Boise. Wouldn't be surprised if Falzone heads back to VT. God, I would love to have that kid and Bessinger battle it out for a starter spot.
Edit: looks like Falzone might be a WVU lean at this point according to rumors.

Iowa will take a hit at QB with Gronowski, Scooby and probably Fitz Jr leaving

Last time I looked Hawks were #30 in country...very good.
But still 9th in league...just ok.
.
Top half but barely. Realistically, we’re never going to be higher than 7th now. Oregon, OSU, USC, Michigan, PSU (once they find a coach), and Indiana will always be able to outspend us. You could probably assume Nebraska as well making 8th our ceiling. This is a good year

I look at the average star rating more, and by that metric I think we are 7th.

Iowa is getting quite a few visitors for this weeks game. Jack Janda TE commit from Wisky, and Josiah Vilmael a CB out of Texas will be in for the 2026 class. The 2027 class is getting a solid look this weekend as well.

Top instate:
4* Will Slagle
4* Gavin Stecker
3* Savion Miller (deep offer list including Miami FL, Mizzou, Minn) no offer from Iowa yet
Braylon Bingham
Emmerson Bridgewater

out of state:
Mason McDermott
Oscar Frye
Justyn Lindsay
KF is getting away from the Iowa try-hards now. Thank the lord. Finding out those will not work in the new B10.

I think you will get a guage of where Iowa stands in the revenue/NIL landscape with the 27 class. Everyone is settling in and figuring out what and how they recruit with their $.
The big boys are giving their recruits 1/3 of their NIL up-front. Of course, it takes a ton of cash flow to do that, only a few schools can have this advantage. Notre Dame is doing this but they are denying it, of course.

I would love it if one of these services would compile the total number of offers, P4 offers, P2 offers, etc.

I’ve put more stock into their offer lists than star ratings. The coaches have a lot more invested into evaluating the players than the recruiting service sites. That and there’s just a lot more coaches than these recruiting site evaluators. And not to discount the RSE’s but most of them have never played or coached football. Not that they can’t learn, they just aren’t as qualified.
