We are at the place in a rebuild where it is not only common but expected you ting in better players than you already have. While maybe pike hasn’t done too much of that given recruiting has not been good, there are still guys that fit this mold.
Why is pike not allowing this natural transition to take place? Is it just so obvious (and incorrect) that we’ve nailed it already and it’s this weird mis identification of who his defensive stoppers are and his unrelenting preference to ignore offense and only focus on one part of the game to get stops in the name of old grumpy coaches everywhere?
