Recruiting Class

I know we are all abuzz and constantly looking at updates on Cunningham and others. I am as caught up in it as anyone. I do just want to take time to pause and think about how INCREDIBLE our class is, especially considering we are just in the Fall period, already.

We have commitments from 5 players (I know Askew has yet to reclass) - all ranked in the top 40!!

I love that we have not only elite athletes but truly elite scorers in this Fall class. If we ended with a class of Askew, Clarke, Boston, Ware and Flecther - that would be historic for almost any school and would be a phenomenal class and already on par (arguably better than) with our 2019 class (Maxey, Whitney, Juzang and Brooks - not counting Sesstina).

Excited to have these young studs committed and am all for making this the best recruiting class of all time - just wanted to make that statement. Well done Cal and staff - now go finish it out as you best see fit (preferably with Cunningham being part of that final group).

We're lucky!

Right now we're waiting to see if we're going to have a"great" recruiting class, or an HISTORIC recruiting class...

Either way, next year is going to be fun!

Yep and I suspect we add Cunningham and Jackson before the fall ends which takes the class to an even greater level. Then Brown and or Banchero in the spring with maybe a grad transfer as well. We are going to have a ton of rides to fill .

I think Ware will move up the rankings soon, or at least he should. The knock on him for awhile was that his motor and work ethic was the thing holding him down. Apparently, from several sources, he has made an amazing transformation with a super work ethic, and his motor during games is now one of his strengths. He already had the physical tools and a great skill set. All he needed was the motor. And now he has it.

All that is to say that I think our recruiting class is even better than the current rankings show.
