Based on point spread with NU a 1 pt favorite I think it's officially time to stop measuring teams on Wins vs Losses. W-L is a lot like SAT/ACT scores. They don't measure true ability. Some students get nervous taking exams and I think we can all agree NU's issues in 2021 were all mental. Scrap W-L and start ranking teams on a metric based on yards gained vs lost, etc. NU is legitimately a playoff team if we stop focusing on the final score and just look at the big picture.

I hope this is a joke... I feel NU is the best team, so in this context, NU wins the west. Who do they play on the the east side? Michigan.
Well jees. What about the quality of practices? NU has had numerous really good practices and probably lost to several teams this year that didn't practice as well. Shouldn't they get credit for those good practices?

I do agree moral victories should count. Our record is 3-1-6 as far as im concerned. If you play a bowl team within single digits it should count as an M
Can we do that? I dont think we lose to illinois if they arent allowed to tackle us
