Big Blue brothers and sisters, first of all, Merry Christmas to ALL of you! This year, my mom went all out and surprised my dad and I with something big.

We are huge Cowboys fans, but we've never got to go to Dallas for a game. That changes Sunday.

She got us some type of VIP package where we get to tour the stadium, meet the team, go to the game, and tailgate before the game with Cowboys legends!

Needless to say, we are beyond excited. My question for you guys is: what is there to do in the Dallas area? Restaurants, sights, etc. We will be there from Saturday around noon until Monday evening.

I know BBN is scattered across the country, so I figured some of you could give me some recommendations. Thanks in advance and God bless!

Cowboys play at the same time as the Eagles. Eagles win, won't be a fun place to be with the Cowboys missing the playoffs, but if Eagles lose/Cowboys win the town will be alive. Have a great time.

Visit the West End in Dallas and the Stockyards in Fort Worth, if you have time. Go to the Cattlemen's Restaurant in Fort Worth and see if you can eat the 52 ounce steak with all of the trimmings in an hour; if you do it's free. You're also a little over an hour from Winstar Casino and Resort, which is huge, if you're into that kind of thing. Toby Keith has a restaurant there that is good as well.

The Stockyards is a really cool area. There are a couple places where they make custom boots based on your feet and their shape. A lot of great shops and things to do there. Obviously a lot of great steak houses and really cold beer. I love the DFW area but can't stand the traffic (which really shouldn't be too bad over the weekend). Have a blast, great gift.

Probably a good idea to check with Debbie. I hear she does Dallas.

I was in Dallas a couple of weekends ago. If you don't smoke make sure to check out the restaurants smoking policy. Owensboro is smoke free so it was something that never occurred to me.
