Is apparent this was a rebuild vs a rework. Eichorst did Riley no favors not stating how bad things has got in Lincoln under Bo.

So now the narrative is going to be that Mike Riley, who's been around college football for decades, just had no idea what a terrible situation he was walking into at Nebraska? Good Lord, give the unconditional slobbering a rest. Your Johnny SuperFan bona fides are well-established.

As always, just blame everything on Bo.......especially considering he was 10,000 better than the currently ultra pathetic MR. But just keep dreaming.....whatever works for ya!

It's no longer sufficient just to blame Bo. If you really want the password to the Johnny SuperFan Club, you need to convince yourself that Eichorst duped Mike Riley into taking the job.

Bo created such a toxic atmosphere you people will never realize the damage done to those boys.

Bo sucked and tried to burn the place down on the way out. Please don't use Riley's failure to rewrite history and make Pelini something more than he was.

Wash State gets beat by a so-so Cal team, Utah takes SC to the wire, Syracuse beats the defending NC, Iowa State beats OU, Washington gets upset.

There is enough talent at Nebraska to at least take the game against Ohio State into the 4th qtr. Coaching is the biggest detriment to this years team.

In particular our defensive coaching was "offensive". Riley to some extent blamed losing our top safeties to injury and having to play 3rd teamers but man. Our D line just got manhandled and our backers were little help to them.

We didn't look like we were reacting very fast at all either. They were being fooled over and over and over again in that game.

How about TO? Solich and Bo were epic failures

I wouldn't say Solich was an epic failure, he wasnt the right man but certainly not an epic failure that you're claiming him to be. The epic failure was firing Solich in the manner he was fired and then hiring someone who had to come in and put his system in place of a system that was around for a long time. We didn't hire someone familiar with that type of system and it bit us in the ***. Pelini on the other hand was a mistake.
