It just seems like a flawed premise if you poll based on what's happened already in the season, unless your polls are 100% based on where you think teams will finish. Using the same argument, shouldn't Auburn be top 15? They have an FBS win, and two losses against the top 10. Comes down to the obvious bias of preseason ranking and expectation. Didn't UMiss start out in the polls around 15? 13 maybe? They've lost 2 games and they only drop 4 spots?

If it hadn't been for FSU getting drummed so bad, I would say their performance so far absolutely looks like a top 25 team.

I still think they are a top 25 team, but the *** whipping Louisville gave FSU certainly makes it less clear.

As much as most of us don't like it, they're a Top 25 team. They may not lose another game. Don't think they'll lose to Georgia.

A 1-2 team should never be ranked, IMO. The only accomplishment Ole Miss has this year is that they beat Wofford. I don't care that they played teams close, they lost. I'd put a 3-0 mid-major team in front of a 1-2 SEC team. For that matter, I'd put North Dakota State in front of Ole Miss. They've accomplished more on the field this year than OM.
