Reasons I love soccer

No American sport has a crowd that is this savvy and keeps tracking of all 22 men on the pitch, much less impromptu cheers in unison.

Everyone in the US is too busy ordering a cocktail in the suite, paying the vendor $9 for a warm beer or talking to the person next to them, to actually notice what is going on with the game and have fun with it.

That is awesome. I admit I enjoy soccer but don't watch it much anymore. I need to make more time to get back into it.

There are a lot of reason that I love soccer. But here is a simple group
:

No media timeouts, play under review, and no showboat coaches coming on the field to argue. They don't stop the play if the person down is not in danger.

Play under review is about to change and get a hockey goaline cam. There are lots of times coaches come down on the sidelines rip ARs and scream at center officials.

I haven't seen any coaches throw a chair like Bobby Knight or turn their hat around like a baseball manager to get in the Referee's face. Mike stoops wouldn't last five minutes in a soccer match. Most times, I only see college coaches talk to the 4th referee who has no power to do anything, except check players in and out.

What I like is the occasional yapping b/t opposing managers. Dressed up in $2,000 suits with giant puffy coat to keep warm and they're tossin' "BLOODY WANKER!" back and forth. Hysterical!

I'll spare the board video coverage, but I thought I'd point out that Puncheon scored early against City over the weekend, promptly ran to the cornerflag, squatted and motioned underneath himself as if he was wiping.
