There seems to be an awful lot of upsets this year. But made me think about how the NFL protects the higher seed by always ensuring the highest seed plays the lowest seed. College sports should probably do this.

Georgia is the highest seed remaining and will get to host a top 16 seed. Meanwhile Kentucky or West Virginia will likely get to host cal poly.

Troy might host a super regional against Little Rock.

Kansas is going to host Oklahoma

OM could potentially host Milwaukee.

Again, it’s an odd year but I wonder why college sports don’t take the same philosophy to reseed as some pro sports.

I think whoever takes the Athens Super HAS to be the favorite. All of these higher seeds dropping this weekend, Omaha could look very different this year.

I kind of love the chaos and absurdity of college baseball. Like, if a ****** team never had a chance to host a super regional by some bizarre twist of fate, that would suck

I like how it is. If you knock off a host then you earned their path going forward, not a new one. If Little Rock steps up and wins a regional, they shouldn’t be punished for that by now having to face Georgia or Texas.

I dont think it should. It eould cause a ton of last minute changes. But I wish just this year they would. We are definitely in the hardest bracket. Georgia and then the Texas/Oregon winner. What a gauntlet

Oregon isn’t that great. Should have been the #16 seed. Texas is good, but we know we can beat them.
