Ray Rice - too soon?

The prosecutor allowed Rice to enter PTI before his knock-out video hit the media, though the prosecutor likely had it. The Judge agreed to the deal, which judges ordinarily do, though not always. The main drivers behind the deal were that it was a first time offense, Ray quickly married the victim, and she was not going to cooperate. That was enough for this prosecutor. When the video later came out, there was negative backlash, but the deal was done. Ray lucked out by not having the video hit the press before he got the deal. If it had come out earlier, the prosecutor wouldn’t have been able to shelve the case. Ray and his soon-to-be wife got effective guidance from their defense attorney to get this thing into PTI.

A good, effective prosecutor wins that trial. This prosecutor didn’t want it..

clearly you have not followed the story. Yes, Ray said he was drunk off his ***. Yes, Ray admitted he was 150% wrong. YES Ray has done a ton of things since then to try to right his wrong including PTI, anger management, apologizing publicly to his wife, his family & his fans and by going around the country talking to professional and college sports teams, including Rutgers, about why you should never let this happen.
What has rice done to combat his alcohol problems that he says caused this @MrsScrew ? That was the problem he had that led to the domestic abuse it seems.

Is it just me or is anyone else unable to see the actual punch landing on her? I'm not at all saying he didn't throw it but it's weird that I cannot see the actual fist hitting face.

Really? You have a problem with that? I'm devastated.
As someone said earlier, if you ain’t Tom Brady this is what many look like…

That being said…if you want to wear a #27 go right ahead. There shouldn’t really be an issue with it. That’s the other person’s problem, not yours.

And I bet Jameer Campbell would be thrilled to see his number in the stands.

Bad example. That guy is the classic OSU fan - he looks totally over-the-top and owns it. He'd look silly in anything But a jersey.

You need an old, skinny guy wearing an XL jersey with khakis and awkward hat if you want to make that point.

Seems like he’s doing/did a lot to make changes in his life. Good for ray . One of the greats here at rutgers ! This seems like an old article. I hope he has stuck to his word. But then a quick search and I saw this. If true , wow what a jerk! Rice may be full of sh$t. I think we as a board community need to find out if rice was serious and fixed his self proclaimed alcohol problems before we continue to wax poetic about the changes a scum bag may have made.

Face paint is a little much. Not a fan of the beads. Great jersey. Well one of the great things about being an older dude is not giving a crap about what other people think.
