What happened to the rare baseball feats thread from HORT? I searched but no dice. Well you know what's coming...

A feat that has never before been done in the history of baseball. St. Louis Cardinal's rookie Joshua Baez, making his major league debut against the hated Chicago Cubs at Wrigley, hits the first pitch 449 feet to center field, then follows that up with a homer to left on his second plate appearance and then to right field on his third. A feat that has never happen before in 150 years of major league baseball! The second coming of Albert Pujols?

A rare baseball feat that I never thought I would see is Savannah bananas becoming more popular than major league. I was in a sports bar the other night and not a single mlb game was on but these bananas and coconuts were on 5 or 6 TV’s. I thought it was kind of weird. Does anyone even care about baseball anymore?

The Harlem Globetrotters were big once upon a time but not anymore...

The Savannah Bananas average roughly 27,000 to 28,000 fans per game during their massive stadium tours, a dramatic rise fueled by playing in iconic minor/major league ballparks and massive college football stadiums that regularly sell out completely.

Major League Baseball (MLB) total regular-season attendance reached 71,409,421 fans with an average of 29,471 per game during the 2025 season.

Growth Trend: Marked the third consecutive year of overall attendance increases across the league.

Bananas are a once you've seen them you won't be going back. MLB is growing even into it's 150th season...

He'd have never gotten the chance at #3 if Tony LaRussa was managing the Cubs. LaRussa would have ordered a beaning.
