I always glance through these and know its tough to know which of the 7+ undefeated D2 schools is better but assume the higher classes should be more obvious. I dont know huskerlandbob but how does Central beat Westside on Westside's home field, have the same record and be 3 spots behind them. That is completely ridiculous.

Don't really want to speak for HuskerlandBob but it seems as if he's looking at the entire body of work. Which I am not saying is right or wrong because I think results on the field have to count for something. But in the end, these rankings don't mean anything for state seeding or anything for that matter. I wouldn't worry about rankings, instead worry about working hard and finding ways to win.

Completely agree and dont usually nitpick. I enjoy the ratings as another measuring stick as the power points are also an inexact science. I probably wouldnt have said anything if westside was 1 spot above central but 3 makes it seem like someone forgot to check last week's scores before submitting rankings. As with all rankings recency bias does need to come into play. they lost by 31 but that was a few weeks ago...more recently they have the same record as a team they went on the road and beat.
