Sounds about right, given the Alabama result.
Beat South Alabama and South Carolina and we are ranked.
That's fair. We will probably be ranked next week assuming we handle our business against S Alabama.
There seems to be a Big 10 bias lately. No way USC is 12 or Penn St is #13. That conference does include the last 3 champions, but they are still a distant second to the SEC.
You can have an easy Big10 schedule, like Penn St or Indiana- there are no easy SEC schedules.

Honestly, beating the brakes off of South Alabama would probably do it.
Ten SEC teams ranked.
Can’t have any letdown at all against South Alabama. Kentucky needs to absolutely crush them - the way Spurrier used to crush Curry.
It's pretty interesting when you think about it.
In 6 out of 8 SEC quarters so far we either manhandled or outplayed 2 Top-10 SEC teams. That bounce-back on the road is significant.
I think Stein needed to see us against some real competition, before he could determine our weaknesses. It seems a lot of things got corrected since the Bama game.
I just hope what we saw yesterday was more about UK being good and less about aTm struggling. They didn't handle Arizona State very easily either.
But if this team can crush South Alabama and beat South Carolina, they should catch a top 25 spot, but with our schedule, it probably won't last long.
This will be Stein's weakest team, we just need to take whatever good things we can get this year. There will be more high's, but more low's too. I'm very happy with what Stein brings to the table, I am looking forward to where he is going to take this program in the years to come.

Kind of funny seeing Missouri and Mississippi State ranked in the top 25. UK beats #9 on the road by 10 while being 16.5 point underdogs and state wins at unranked USCjr by 7 while being 3 point dogs and of course the pollsters favor the win over an unranked opponent. Missouri has played no one and struggled at home against Troy so yeah let’s put them in there too.

That is not being handled easily.
IMHO. Being handled easily is being outscored badly in the first half and never in a position to get the win. It means the substitutes are fired up for the second half because they know they are getting into the game today.

Yeah, they did get it done in the end, but it was a very tight game through 3 quarters.
I think we could* be ranked after South Alabama depending on how other games shape up. We will be ranked if we beat them and at South Carolina, though.
