Not trying to be political but if some mj helps him and doesn’t impact his performance, let the man earn.
Randy’s gut...it’s full of dirty little cheeseburgers. All Randy’s are similar.

Don't they have that same struggle when dealing with alcohol today? If your employee is missing work, hungover, etc., then that employee crossed the line. If your employee performs, why do you care if he or she is doing weed or drinking alcohol?Well, that's a slippery slope. I can see every school administrator, coach, employer and law enforcement having to make that decision on what "some" is and that it "helps" and then prove no negative impact. Good luck with that.
In his first year at NU, he had 19 tackles for loss and led the B1G with 10.5 sacks. I’d call that better than just “good.”I hope he succeeds and does well.
That said... I think he is a very overrated player by Husker fans. He was good, but not great, and was often just average when the effort wasn't there.

Yep. He had one great year. One. But in year two he was often hobbled by nagging injuries, took too many plays "off", and was far less effective. He then goes pro and proceeds to screw the pooch by violating very clear rules. In his first year at NU, he had 19 tackles for loss and led the B1G with 10.5 sacks. Not overrated. He was damn good when he was on his game, but got mixed up in some bad, bad stuff. I don't know what he was on his last year here, but I was told that he looked like he barely weighed 215 pounds his final year here and at times looked "sick".I hope he succeeds and does well.

I stand by my assertion that he is an overrated player
But that is precisely my point. He had all the raw talent in the world. His first year showed it. But his personal demons did him in. After that first year, he was not the same. He was f$cked up. Lost weight. Out of shape. Frequently injured. Being a "great" player is more than having raw talent. It's a whole package that also includes character. Because if you lack it, then your raw talent goes away too.Not overrated. He was damn good when he was on his game, but got mixed up in some bad, bad stuff. FIFYHere's your 5th or 6th chance young man. You will only have yourself to blame.
Good luck.

I do hope people realize that people go to work high or drunk now.
You do know that right?
And if I’m not supposed to go to work high or drunk and fail a test, I won’t be working there much longer.I do hope people realize that people go to work high or drunk now.

Don't remember the announcer, but pretty certain that line was uttered late in the game against Michigan in the Big House when Gregory ran down Michigan's QB for a sack on the weak side edge of the field.Sean McDonough?

That would be him! He was one of the best college football announcers, wish he still did college games.Sean McDonough?

He’s definitely not overrated bye any means. That final year you can tell he held back and tried to protect himself. On pass rushing itself, he was as good or better then the elite pass rushing DEs out there. I will give you this, he did screw up his NFL career thus far. weed shouldn’t be a priority of his and definitely shouldn’t come before his NFL career. It’s sickening because he’s got the skill set to be a elite pass rusher in the NFL too. I just hope he gets it together and shows everyone why all the NFL teams wanted him (of course a few teams that passed on him had bigger needs then a DE) back when he got drafted.
Randy's best achievement is somehow continuing to receive an NFL paycheck. Jerry Jones was proud of being the smartest guy in the room when he "stole" Randy in the second round. Apparently it is hard to admit that he wasn't so smart after all -- and move on. But Jerry has company. See the Royals and Bubba Starling.

That’s fine, and you may be right, but until the NFL feels that way then Gregory needs to abide by what NFL says.I'd rather hire a guy that smokes pot recreationally than one who drinks. The alcohol, while legal, has just much larger social costs.
true, I don't hire athletes... yetThat’s fine, and you may be right, but until the NFL feels that way then Gregory needs to abide by what NFL says.
