One of my favorite parts of seeing PSU play at the RAC this year was seeing Bob Wenzel come walking out of the bathroom as I walked in at halftime. There can’t be many other venues in the country where the network announcer is trying to beat the lines in the public men’s room at halftime.

I was shocked to see brand-spanking new anti-slip safety strips on the steps between sections 203 and 204 on Saturday. I'm almost certain it's the first time the strips have been replaced since I became a STH in 1994.
I don't go #3 at games or anywhere in public Because I like to be completely naked when I do.

True story: Had an extra ticket to the Illinois game and didn't have anyone I knew to go with so i contacted a person looking for a single on the ticket exchange. After an email exchange, I suggested maybe we could carpool if we lived near each other. Turns out, he lived a block away from me.

Trying to draw a charge is one way to defend, but there are options. Our team chooses to try to block shots or defend the shot rather than stand still to take the charge on a lane driver.
All have their pluses and minuses.
I don't have the charge-specific numbers, but our non-steal turnover percentage (which includes charges as well as stuff like travels and passes out of bounds) has gone from 7.9% in 2019 to 9.8% this year.
