The Frank Trigg/Matt Hughes 2 fight was pretty badass for real fighting. Matt Hughes was an Iowa wrestler but I won't hold that against him. He got kicked right in the balls and almost choked out, and somehow through being country strong scooped up Frank Trigg off the mat and RAN him across the ring to slam him. It was awesome to watch live. From nearly being choked out to literally slamming your opponent into the mat and choking him out in a minutes time was almost fiction. It was pretty epic.

I had to research it and turns out he is Illinois farm strong. I must have got it in my head since he trained at Militich camp in Iowa. Omaha product Jeremy Horn trained with him. Probably where Hughes learned so much jiu-jitsu.
