Here's a thread to hopefully keep everyone from tearing each other's throats out: what's the most random/odd object you still have from being a student at State?

I'm in the midst of getting ready to move and, while going through storage boxes trying to thin out the amount of crap I have, I just found the key to my room in Smith Hall (Room 128 ) from my freshman year.

I have a piece of the goalposts flag from spurriers last loss in Starkville. One of you dildos cut my hand trying to divvy up the flag with your pocket knife.

Probably BillBraskyDog...

The same guy who beat the Florida water boy within an inch of his life and caused that extra touchdown to get hung on us the next year in Gainesville.

If Ed Montgomery wasn't dead he'd come hunt you down for not turning that in.

I was one of the people that pulled down the goal post by the student section. I got nothing from it.

I did get the paper on the MSU players bench in 98 Arkansas game. It was the sign that designated where the LBs were.

Rushing the field was definitely awesome times. Kinda wish I wouldn't have been so deep in the bourbon for the 99 egg bowl

First ID card. I graduated in 97. Think I still used it for games till 99 or 2000. Wasn’t no skanners then.

I have about 10 programs from 47-50. Also, the 1950 Dope Book. And the front page from 1980's 6-3 win.

Yes I remember. We used to have pantie raids (you young guys ever heard of them?) Malcolm didn't care if you were participating or not, if you were in the area just watching you were guilty. He would grab you up.

I've got keys from my first apartment (and my neighbor's apartment) from 15 years ago. I've been tempted to stop by and see if they still work...

Have a gray t-shirt from my first semester that has been worn no telling how many times, wore it at least once a week while in school. Still wear it every so often, looks like ****.

Have the Toshiba laptop with windows 98 that I used through engineering school, purchased in 2001. I booted it up about a year ago, was surprised it still worked after sitting in my attic for 10 years.

My girlfriend was also not interested in the scrum around the goal post. I think there was about 4 or so of us wrapped around the base. When it came down the base went up about 15 feet in the air. I helped pull down the 98 Ark goal post and 2000 UF. I didn't get anything from either of them. I did get some turf from the UF endzone. Not sure if I still have it in a ziploc bag.

funny story. i was actually dating a girl from Boston that i met working at Disney world. she had never been to a college football game before. so she picked the biggest win for us arguably ever to come to. i rushed the field and left her in the stands with my roommate. later after the game, i asked her what she wanted to do, her response was lets go watch a movie..... a 17'n movie after that win?? haha. naw, i went out. left her at the apt with the roommate. for some reason, we didn't talk much after that weekend.

the picture is at my house in MS we are trying to sell. i'm living in Shreveport now. i'll post pics when i get back there and take a pic.

I kept more crap than I should. Some of the more obscure stuff that I recall seeing the last time I was up in the attic digging around:
Test tube shot glass from Cheers with "Cheers" printed on the side.
Top section of goalpost from the 1996 Bama game.
"Purple Passion" advertisement from Corky's in the form of a stand-up cardboard cutout of girl in a bikini.
My old 386 PC - It would run at a blazing 33 megahertz if the turbo button is pushed in.

If you are talking about the early 90's test tube shots, I have a pristine, never worn long sleeved black Cheers tshirt they gave away if you did a lot of those shots. Also have an old Dash Riprock shirt floating around somewhere "F%^& Dash! Lets Drink!"

Poked full of holes by the library who turned it into a punchcard which was a 1980 version of a scanner.

I also have an unused student ticket from the 6-3 game, and a copy of the special edition of the reflector published to commemorate the game.

Grade transcripts, most of my class books (including bio-chem), photo ID's 1977-1980, and a one gallon paint can (empty) from Silkie's in Memphis (an epic night)

Besides the textbooks that I've kept and hauled around for some unknown reason, at one point I had a dining tray from Perry. I found it near the fountain that was between the Union and McCool one night when a group of us were there. Ended up using it during the ensuing water fight and kept it. Should have kept that tossed the textbooks.

I probably still have my beanie too, somewhere. Got the buzz job one night leaving Critz ... thought I'd eluded them but didn't. I think they "outlawed" hazing not long after my freshman year.

You're not the guy who was sitting behind us in Section R that night were you? Drunk as a skunk, kept complaining about having a headache, but hit the field anyway after the game.
