Why/how is it that India, a country with as many people as China, situated over a large mountain range from the epicenter, only has 396 cases?

And real reporting. Russia could have thousands dead and they would never admit it.

I would think social media would prevent a government from trying to cover up something like a nationwide medical emergency. Maybe Putin could get that done though.

the opposition within Russia is pointing to increases in pneumonia and other deaths associated with respiratory illness. But you won't get real numbers from Russia or India either for that matter. Doubtful we see real numbers from a lot of countries any time soon.

A substantial percentage of Indian workers are daily wage dependent. Hopefully it doesn’t get bad there because a ver small % are even capable of stocking food even for short term needs.
