…..and then with the god awful throw. Thank god I don’t care about either team or I’d be having a heart attack

Probably just a year or two too early for Caleb. But he will get there. Hes exciting to watch.

Maybe. Still making bad decisions with the ball leading to picks. He's just a more talented Cutler that doesn't run his mouth right now, until he proves otherwise. Cutler cost them a Super Bowl and Williams kept them from getting to one with bad decisions early in this one. Hard to watch him pick the double and triple-covered receivers when he's got a back running free with nothing but green in front of him.

Ben Johnsons play calls early were equally excruciating. 3rd and 4th and 1, "hey, let's run into the teeth of the defense! ... both times!!" Lmao. Not gonna get it done

I hate leaving points on the board - could have had 3 fg?

Regardless if Seattle keeps that up they’ll win the whole thing. Their defense is ridiculous.

Played the Rams twice .. lost by 2 and won by 1 .. the win was at home so there's that

Thing is, Seattle seems to be peaking at the right time where as LAR has just been a little shakey lately. Almost lost to Carolina twice, and something is up with their defense.

Same. It's all fun and games to go for it on 4th down every time until it doesn't work. You take the points. One reason you KNOW you take the points? Chris Collinsworth saying, "you can't settle for FGs against the Rams."

If you take and make 1 or 2 out of 3, you're driving for and hitting the winning TD pass with 18 seconds left. Instead, OT and you lose by ....a FG....

Ugh, that one hurt, but I love the direction the Bears are FINALLY heading in. Caleb Wilson continues to amaze each week. I mean, leaning back at the 40 yard line with pressure in his face, he drops a dime to Cole Kmet in the corner of the end zone. Crazy.
I think the last interception was the receiver not going where he was supposed to, but that's how it goes sometimes.
The Bears put up a lot of thrillers this year, combined with the crazy comebacks the Cats have been putting out there, I've easily aged a couple extra years.

Yeah, but when it's 4th an 1, you gotta get that. They got stopped 3 or 4 times when they just needed 1 yard. Credit to the Rams, that's a heck of a fb team.

Love the Rams keeping in the game despite looking normal in the middle quarters.
They did what they had to do to get the W with the Mizzou kicker coming through for them.
Panthers and Bears were ready in their stadium, and now the Rams put themselves in a spot very few accomplish successfully:
Win all road games to get to the SB.
Only five NFL teams have ever won all three of their road playoff games to reach the Super Bowl, with four of them (the 1985 Patriots, 2005 Steelers, 2007 Giants, and 2010 Packers) going on to win the championship, and one (the 1985 Patriots) losing in the Super Bowl.

Basically impossible to win it all at this point. I'm in their camp though if any team can do it, it's this one.

Right he forgot the part where the rams kicked 2 fg - packers consistently leaving points going constantly on 4th down caught up with them too this season

Shtty play calling won't do it, though. Run the plays that got you down the field and its not an issue. Run a back from a deep set into the strength of the defense on 3rd a d 4th down? You deserve to be sent home. Ego cost them the game when they could've just kept doing what was working and take the points (FGs).

When you have 1 yard to gain, you're drastically reducing your odds of achieving it when you only have one play call/option in mind. You reduce it further when you do a bunch formation and run into the bunch. Now, if you have a big QB and road grader OL, maybe a tush push. But if you've been getting chunk plays all the way down the field, WHY run a play only meant to get a yard? Then do it twice?

It's just stupid
