My number was 8 but I thought with some luck anything was possible. I was concerned about our lines. Losing Teddy and Nouilli was a bad deal

Given the baby soft schedule this year and next I was terrified we would get to 6-7 wins and be stuck with Frost for several more years

6-7 wins would have significantly emboldened the Frost cult

I thought for sure 8-9 wins plus a bowl game with all the new hires! Problem was, I forgot who the head man was.

Before the NW game I was hoping for 7-8 wins. After the NW game I thought the season would go how it’s went. It sucks, as the bigten west is trash.

I was thinking 6 wins and bowl game, and wondering if that was good enough to retain Frost another year.

Boy, the Northwestern game certainly taught me a lesson.

but hey, onside kicks when up 11 pts late in the 3rd quarter is terrific idea.

I did not but several in my family did. Just my brother and wife agreed with me. We were seen as the negative people in my family.

They’ve lost games with both an incompetent head coach and bunch of interims by: 3,3,6,7, and 1. Yeah….it was CRAZY we thought they would win 8 games!!🤣🤣🤣

Sadly, not as smart as you… but I’m not so stupid to alienate a swath of husker fans who hoped we would do better. Sorry.

So there’s that.

3 wins are all I’ve ever thought a Frost coached team would get after year 1. His incompetence was apparent from the first game and never disappeared. The same problems that plagued this team in game 1 of his tenure are still there.
