The plan was Corcoran was gonna play inside at LG, but Teddy's injury forced him back outside as he was the only one with the most experiece at LT.

Corcoran was vilified all last year, along with Benhart at tackle positions, why go back to that again this year? Move Corcoran to his natural position, verify someone, anyone in the off-season, with better footwork to run that tackle position. JMO
Funny how two Nebraska OL actually received season end recognition by the B1G conference (and both of them are returning to continue to work with Raiola) when posters here assured us throughout the season just how "bad" Raiola is as a coach. Also especially interesting because one of the two players gets bashed repeatedly here by the "Internet coaching experts" (ie., Benhart). Funny also how Nebraska was one of the top B1G rushing teams.
Yes, I don't think the OL was the big problem (could always be better of course but it wasn't the main cause that held Nebraska back this season).

What was the average rushing YPG of the offense without the QB run? I imagine it was pretty pedestrian. Our OL is not good and Raiola is not a good coach.
Why don't you count qb runs? Doesn't the oline block for those as well?
I guess it's easier to make your narrative fit if you just use certain stats.

The commitment to the Raiola sucks narrative requires being selective with what stats you use.
I would count them if the OL was any good, but they're not. Again, our average yard per rush sans the QB run isn't good.
How does that even make sense on any level? Unless you are joking. So the school the relied on qb rushing for decades all the sudden shouldn't count it? Ok.
And yet the offense that was the worst in a century. If you're satisfied with crap then be my guest.
If you want to take the QB runs out, then also take into consideration we were down to our 4th string RB who weighed a whopping 185 lbs wet. Also throw in injuries on the entire left side and center.
I am not saying Raiola is a world beater coach but you are picking and choosing how you want to decide if he is or isn't any good.
Do you think he is an upgrade over Austin? I saw what Austin was doing and teaching and didn't like it, note the players comments about the differences. Raiola seems to have a good relationship with his players and it sounds like he is getting input from other/outside coaches so he himself is coachable.
No I don't think he's better than Austin. Corcoran is even worse under Raiola than he was under Austin. The injury to Corcoran made our whole OL look better. It shouldn't have taken half a season and an injury to figure that out.
Who said anything about being satisfied? I'm talking about twisting stats to fit a narrative. So do we take away Crouch's yards? Tommie's?
Rhule said from the start he wasn't rushing Fidone and Teddy back just to have them get hurt again. As far as I know both made it through the season without being injured. Does it suck that Teddy wasn't ready to be a game 1 starter? Yeah. Are we better off by easing him in? Yeah.
Again he's a 2nd year coach and shouldn't have been in that situation to begin with. It's completely his own fault.
Maybe. Maybe not. I think people underestimate developing Olineman compared to say a WR. Rouse went to OU over NIL. That wasn't Raiola's fault.
I'm wait and see on Raiola. His recruiting is picking up steam. He basically personally brought in Scott with his Hawaii connection.
