Rain and Speed

Does a wet field hurt a team with speed that mainly runs the ball? I could see it hurting a team that throws. MA and N Rowan should be interesting bc both have a speed guys that are athletic. MA is good and strong up front on both sides idk about NR. MA kicker put it in the ez every time but with rain idk.

IMHO rain helps the Offense as the backs and receivers know where they are going and anticipate the cuts, while the D is reacting to what the O does.....of course there may be some slips but I think it gives a slight advantage to the O in most cases.

NR has athletes but the OL and DL are not that good. Got some big kids but they play both ways a lot and get tired. MA will pound NR!

I think it's more of a disadvantage for those running to the edge and trying to cut vs teams that run the veer and are more north/south. But on the edge, being chased by a big boy trying to plant is going to be a lot harder.
