Is he injured?

Why did we hear all these stories during camp about how he is someone who’s going to play a lot and a great 3rd down back, ala Brian Westbrook, then today he doesn’t see the field?

I thought he was the leader of the group.

What happened?

Whatever. Just another ingredient in the **** soup we serve up every week, every year.

RBs played badly, I thought. Couple nice runs from Grant, including the TD obv, but they also ran into the pile a lot when the cutback was there.

So you really think he was in a scuffle, but we need him so badly he can play on kickoff coverage and punt coverage teams? But nope, we can't use him on offense? Never believe anything these coaches say at press conferences. Rhamir is the 5th running back, and he plays the same wr position as Palmer.
He played the first series on offense and then disappeared
He did not play on offense at all.

Oh, thought I saw him split out a couple times, as since he's not a true rb this year. Watched it back and realized it was A. Brown 🤦‍♂️

I thought Grant looked good. Our OL didn’t block anyone and there was zero creativity in the run scheme, Grant basically did it himself on the ground.

watch that play again, they throw it out to Trey on the bubble and it's an easy 8 yards taking advantage of that too aggressive LB who made the tackle.

Frost said today that he was kind of lost between RB and slot receiver. Said he needs to play more.

I totally agree, kids got vision like our backs use to, 2015 and forward has been a mind numbing experience watching our backs run into lineman, don’t utilize cut back lanes or getting one armed tackled at the LOS

Except watch the OLB on this side, he is watching Thompson and reading, as soon as he sees it is a handoff he is releasing and headed for the RB. He would have read pass and then made his move, his eyes were on the play and they told him everything. With the pulling guard, it would appear the play was designed to go to the left, unbalanced side but it was blown up and Yant saw that and attempted to cut back. The problem was the block wasn't made to run that direction and there was no inside out leverage to the weak side which there should not have been. In addition, watch the OLB at the top of the screen. He reads the pulling guard and goes to where the pulling guard is to fill the hole. He wasn't reading the RB so they knew exactly what they were looking at and keying on. Well played by them.

That's a bad look for discipline. And for intelligence. I thought the idea was to surround Frost with 'grown-ups'.
So a coach's 'wife' has a radio show? What in the f are they talking about and why would anyone actually care or listen? Man I'm not sure I can be bored enough to actually consider listening to what a coach's wife has to say in any way shape or form.

I would have loved to tune into Carl Pelinis wife’s radio show.

Rahmir Johnson is a likeable kid that we all want to succeed. He's not Mike Rozier, Anthony Grant is a better player than Rahmir. Ajay Allen is probably a better player but not enough evidence there. On an end around Trey Palmer is probably better. Where does he fit in, other than special teams?

The thing that's odd is changes are being made in week 2 of the season on offense.

Yet, on defense, other than Henrichs out with a bad wrist, and Hausman replacing him, it's status quo with the entire unit that is stinking up the place.

I suspect Scott will have to get with Chin and tell him he needs to make some moves in personnel in order for Frost to survive during this season.

Farmer, Clark, Buford are all burn baby burn back there. Missed tackles, late to the receiver, etc.

You would have to say as a 3rd down back, throw some passes to him out of the backfield.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him and Smothers getting a package of plays built for them.

I’m not convinced in anyway that this staff even knows who our best players are.

And don’t get me wrong, grants a good player.

After 2 games, Casey Thompson has the same number of tackles as: Brown, Clark, Drew, Cooper, Robinson, Sanford.

And more tackles that Gunnerson and Nash.

Thompson looks out of position. lol

Yeah, you’re right, but as you can see we’re not a very good football team.

Rahmir showed us last year that he’s good enough to be on the field somewhere for this team.
I agree and thought we’d see more of him and belt in the slot yesterday
