I'm proud to say I'm not listening.

Polk just wanted to get away from those mean State, err...USM fans on the left field side.

.....where Polk is. He apparently didn't see him get thrown out of the game or anything, just that Raffo is suddenly coaching 3rd base.

Jim did mention that Polk was unhappy about comments being made about him from the stands yesterday, but that he didn't know if that has anything to do with his absence or not. VERY interesting. Next thing you know, Polk will get arrested. Oh wait a minute, that's happened before.........

i'm a huge, HUGE baseball fan and this is killing me. if there were any doubt that the team hadn't quit, it is all erased now. what a gd disaster we have going on. i can't even listen to us play anymore, and i don't believe i've ever not listened to at least one inning of any game since i was about 10. polk has done a lot for msu, but the way he has acted this season has been a complete and utter disgrace.

but yeah, I bet that's exactly why Polk left. The WORST thing you can do in a baseball game is let the fans get into your head. Especially if you're the HC. The HC is supposed to be the damn leader. And here you have him pussing out because some fans said some "bad" things about him.

I mean, seriously Ron, do you have no self-esteem? Be a <17> man and take your medicene. You started this, now at least be a man and deal with it.</p>
